Home to our Spring Green Campus
In the rolling hills of Wisconsin’s Driftless Area, the Savanna Institute established its Spring Green Campus in 2020 as a research, demonstration, and education hub for the region. Our Technical Service Program offers assistance to Wisconsin farmers and landholders who want to add trees to their land in agroforestry systems. Our Water Quality Program researches the effects that tree crops have on local watersheds, and outreach specialists establishes demonstration farms for people to learn more about tree-crop systems. Our partners at Canopy offer plant material and farm management services in southern Wisconsin.
