An agroforestry education hub along the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers
Missouri’s fertile valleys and wetland habitat of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers create diverse ecosystems in the state. With grasslands in the west, and the patchwork of forest and farmland in the north, Missouri’s varied landscape offers opportunities for a wide range of agroforestry practices. The state is an agroforestry education hub for the country led by partners at the University of Missouri Center for Agroforestry.
