Monika is a landscape ecologist working to identify where and how agroforestry is most likely to succeed across the Midwest with positive economic and environmental outcomes. Monika earned a PhD in Forestry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with expertise in forest ecology, GIS, and spatial analysis, which she uses to study the relationships between trees and the environment. Monika lives with her family in Washburn, WI and enjoys hiking, growing food, and transforming their yard into a haven for pollinators and wildlife.
